Earwax is a naturally produced substance found in the ear canal.
The quantity produced varies greatly between individuals.
Hard wax is common amongst the elderly and those who wear hearing aids. For many people, earwax may not cause a problem to their daily lives. Wax may also need to be removed in order to take a impression of the ear canal for new hearing aid moulds.

The Microsuction Procedure
Microsuction was first developed in the 19th century. (However, we can assure you we now use the most modern equipment!)
A specialist will look straight into the ear canal using a microscope and a very fine suction device at low pressure is used to remove the wax. This is the safest form of wax removal and the most successful.
