An initial 5-minute screening in one of our clincs will establish if you have treatable hearing loss. For instance, it may be something as common as a build up of wax. There is no charge.
First - find out if your hearing loss can be treated
If you then elect for a free hearing test, only after a thorough examination will you be advised whether or not hearing aids will help. We can also recommend which type, make and model is best suited for your needs - now or in the future.
Hearing tests last up to an hour and are totally free, whether carried out within one of our clinics or in the comfort of your own home. It is important to have a family or friend with you as so we can get as much information as possible. We also conduct speech tests so a familiar voice is helpful for that
Your free hearing examination (Hearing Test) comprises of:
* An extensive Case History – addressing your individual hearing loss
* Diagnostic/Prescriptive Audiometry – to measure the extent and type of any hearing impairment
* Thorough examination of the ear canal
We provide a full explanation of the results of the examination and provide any necessary hearing care advice.
The full result of your examination is recorded on an Audiogram and
liaison with your GP is conducted if referral is required.
Hellen Keller, the deaf and blind author and political activist said,
"deafness cuts one off from people whereas blindness cuts one off from things".
No pressure – you decide if you make a purchase – we just advise on your best options
“Just a note to say I was most impressed with Mr Williams on his visit to my home to assess my hearing problems. Quite honestly I expected a high pressure sales pitch but this was not the case.” (G. Woodley, Lichfield)
